Top switch troubleshooting???(91)
I have a 91 vert, the top quit going up/downabout two weeks ago. I have the ebrake fully up. The switch is in the center console, being a 91. No beeping, nothing. I've taken a voltmeter to it, and it doesn't appear that it it getting any power at all. I've taken almost everything out of the rear (cover, most panels, spare), but cannot seem to find where the pwer is stopping.
BTW, my car leaks when it rains and has other problems. I think with the CPU: door lights sometimes stay on, rear speakers go out occasionally, logicon doesn't read if the ebrake is on or not (no beeping when switch is activated), wiper switch works on low, car sometimes shoots erradic (?spelling?) beeps at me/not listed in the FAQ.
I searched and didn't find any help for this year on where the power is coming from or where else to check for power.
Any help would be appreciated.

Lots of issues with connectors & solder joints where connectors attach to the circuit boards.
Start by resoldering the connector eyelets & clean up any other corrosion you find.
A failed fuses can be hard to see. Test them with your meter.
The dinky relays inside the wiper switch are worn out.
And finally clean up & maybe beef up the primary body ground from the firewall clip to the bell housing.
It seems like a lot to do, but tackle them one at a time & most of your gremlins will clear up.

haha, I'm an idiot. It was the fuse.
I just figured it was related to the others because it went out with everything else the last time
btw, for the other gremlins, where is this primary ground? or what is the bell housing?
