need help jerry rigging my apexi intake
i bought the apexi intake for my 91 FC..
after recieving it and going through the instructions.. I realized my car is missing stuff
Basically my airflow meter doesn't have the rubber "lip" on it nor does it have the metal bracket that used to mount to the airbox...
Both of Which are required to install the filter...
the filter itself has no lip and the mouth is huge... basically the cone of the intake sites "inside" the filter
but because i have no rubber seal.. there is a ton of play..
any suggestions? I'd rather not buy another Airflowmeter just for a rubber seal..

BTW it's called a JURY RIG..
<wikipedia>
Jury rigging refers to makeshift repairs or temporary contrivances, made with only the tools and materials that happen to be on hand. Originally a nautical term, on sailing ships a jury rig is a replacement mast and yards improvised in case of damage or loss of the original mast. </wikipedia>

yeah man
i got it from japan.. the box says FC3S right on it..
instructions are for FC3S
you take parts from the original setup and re-use them to install the intake
but my car came with no airbox when i got it..
so i don't have those parts...
