ok so i blew the apex seal on my 87 rx7 gxl so i thought i'd upgrade to a 93 jdm twin turbo brew engine out of a cosmo?
so i got that sent it to the shop also got the
jdm tranny
2 wiring harnesses from a 93 and a jdm 93
stage 3 clutch and counter weight
pro light fly weel
30 inch inter cooler
custom down pipes headers
exahst
and the ecu from the same type of engine
everything is put in plumed but now they wired my car up and filled two of the plugs in the ecu theirs still two plugs empty and their stuck the shop has worked on a few 88 turbo 2's and such but never anything like a 93 n the configurations all difforent i guess
they basically gived up on my car and want me to find some one or get some direction from some one on how to get the rest of this done its been a year i miss my baby n i need ur help so if anyone has done this swap or know wut to do plz help me out or if ur in mass some were near salem n wanna help out that would be sick

Really? And all of that didn't work? Huh... weird... seems like all of that research you did really paid off.

If you're trying to do it with a manual tranny, it won't work anyway. You're in waaaaaay over your head.

Actually that'll make no difference. It won't be stopping it from running.

Jim,

It sounds like you need to take this car to a competent shop right away. Somebody that knows what they are looking at needs to get in there and get their hands dirty. You ARE way in over your head. Next time look before you leap.

Yeah use s4t2 wiring and ****, thats the only way unless you go standalone. Have fun getting the tps to work.

Er.

Just buy a Haltech or Microtech, pay a shop to install it and finish there.

Standalone EMS will be the cheapest (believe it or not), easiest, and the best way to make this work. Anyway of doing this short of rewiring the entire car will be a hackjob trying to get the FD ECU and wiring to work.

Sell the wiring and ECU you have now and get a Haltech or equivalent, because at this point you are just throwing away money.

Agreed - the professional shop you took it to is in way over their head. Go get a flatbed post haste

If you are dead set on spicing it together you need to get both FSM's and start popping pins. NOT the best way to do it although other here have. One in particular will hopefully show up here becuase his swap is flawless. In this case though since you no longer have a virgin harness to work with I would really just rip it all out.

Also - WHY in the hell are you using the S6+ tranny? Waste of money to pay them to adapt that.
