Unhappy Need Help Badly!

Ok well I still have that hose leaking problem its kinda gay i was tryin to get it replaced today but I lost my wallet and i cant cash my check. Anyways as I was coming home my coolant light poped up and i was thinking damit i need more coolant again. I was only couple miles away from home and i didnt have any coolant so i decided just to keep going, as i was driving my rpm's just died and went to zero and my car boged out while driving! It starts right back up though and i drive fine for a while and then my coolant light turns off and i thought it was ok. Then all a sudden my coolant light turns back on and a min later my rpms start jumping from 2000-3500rpms and then i downshifted to third and my rpms rose to 4000 rpms and then stopped jumping. The rest of the ride home was fine. Why do you think that happened?

I don't know what happened, but you're reall lucky if the motor isn't roached..... Could have been the ECU freaking out when the temp sensor went nuts....

Get that line fixed before you kill the car.

When that hose failed, the cold start thermo-wax cooled, and the fast idle cam pushed up the idle.
You need to pull the UIM,
fix or remove that coolant circuit,
and change out your cooked motor oil.

That does not sound like a situation an 'oldskoopimp' would get into.

anyways, fix hose and make sure you have no air in cooling system afterwards.

I have the feeling you lucked out.

The spray from the leak could also be getting into nearby electrical connectors, in addition to what everybody said above. We're talking primary injectors, CAS, TPS, water thermo sensor, O2 sensor, etc...Also, if you're pissing puddles on top of the engine, and your injector grommets are old & shot, you're probably sucking in a little coolant into the intake runners. Like Decay said, you're going to kill the car, one way or another...

Non technical note, go to your employer and have them cancel the check you had in your wallet and get a new one.

I think he's got the check but probably lost the driver's licence that was in the wallet that would enable him to cash the check. Just a guess.
