HKS spark plugs

had a little question...
probably been asked a million times, but I'm kinda new to the whole rotary-thing , so...

Will HKS s40i 's for example fit my TII?
Heard something about there being a difference between leading and trailing plugs... Should this be taken into account?
And if these won't do, what kind of spark plug will I be needing then?
Engine is standard at the time, but I'm planning on full turbo-back exhaust and open intake (+fueling obviously... ), and in the reasonably near future a fmic...

Thx a bunch !!!

No those plugs will not fit... I think the HKS plugs that do fit are 45re and 50re but they are for racing , not street driving and are about 25 bucks a piece.. thats 100 bucks a set.

I use the standard NGK BUR7EQ Leading and BUR9EQ Trailing which i can get for about 5 bucks each...

Rotary's eat spark plugs, I change my plugs evey 2500 miles (twice a year).

if you never seen a rotary spark plug before, i suggest you take yours out and look at them, you will immediately see the difference between them and a piston engine plug.

Ok, thx for the tip!
Think I'm gonna have a look tomorrow...
The price doesn't really matter that much, just looking for some decent quality.
But if the standard ones will do fine, that's just a bonus!

Thx again!

I was using 2-3 sets of leading for each one set of trailing, so I went to NGK BUR7EQP (platinum) leading plugs.

That's what I would go with because so far Mazdatrix has treated me well and I've heard nothing bad about them.

think I'll be going for the 7EQP & 9EQP 's then...
I do a bit more city than highway driving, but I'm guessing it won't matter that much...

Thx for the helpful site, by the way! Exactly the info I needed...
