Need help ASAP!! PLEASE!

Long story short i am leaving for basic training soon and I am needing to get my car going. Pretty much done with everything but i cannot find a SINGLE 12V+ switched wire anywhere!

The engine is not stock, so the front harness and emissions harnesses where both removed. I have constant power wires, headlights work, horn works etc... But i have nothing switched. No fuel pump, turn signals, no switched to the stereo harness and I am not getting ANY positive voltage on any of the wires actualy ON the ignition switch itself.

Anyone tell me what is up?

No ECU of any type... Carb'd motor with MSD ignition...

Didn't check with a DMM because i don't have one but i did replace all of the fuses with brand new ones... Everything worked great before i pulled the engine/trans and everything. IIRC The stuff did work at some point after removal because i used to be able to listen to the radio when i was working on it...

I used to have a problem with my ignition switch in my old '88 base. When I was driving sometimes, the wipers, radio, fan, everything would cut out, although headlights would still work, engine still ran fine and all. Mess around with your key in your ignition to see if anything changes at all!

Why dont you just run a direct ignition, like push start button.

You can find a switched 12V that remains high by the coils. Its the black/yellow wire I believe.

That is, if you still have some of the stock wiring in place.

I did the push button start already but still need some switched voltage for other stuff.

as for the black/white wire, That is the problem, allof the wires that SHOULD be a switched 12v+ are not powered... NOTHING switched by the ignition actualy turns on with the ignition anymore...

right now everything runs on constant power so i have to disonnect the battery and that sucks. I would like to just get rid of the ignition switch/key completely and replace it with a toggle switch anyways (its a drag car) but i don't know what wires on the switch do what and everything...

OK... I have made a little "progress"

On the back of the ignition switch there is a heavy white/red wire. If i put a 12v+ to that then i get all of my switched accesories (when the key is on) and i also get the "crank" signal too! So I am thinking a relay or something is bad?!?!? There is just NO power going to ANY of the wires on the back of that ignition switch but connecting a 12v+ right to that red/white wire fixes my issues. However i would like to figure out just why it isn't getting the power like it is suppose to rather than adding another wire to the car...

Get a FSM and wire trace it. It may be a bad fuse.

You can get a FSM from www.rx7city.com

I'll try to get one but i really don't have much time left to wait for shipping and crap... I will probably end up just running another wire directly to that one so it atleast gets everything working again... I am going to do some wire checking and see how i would have to go about just getting rid of the ignition switch/key all together and replace it with a toggle switch...

heres the little switch board i made up, the vents above are gone (no heat or AC) and i am beginning the first step in making that a triple gauge pod... and i did slie the whole panel to the left to get it perfectly centered because i am OCD like that. Turned out prettu good IMO conidering i only had a small drill bit adn had to open the holes up to about 3/4" with a carbide burr. spaced pretty good though i think

Guess i should have looked at it...

Thanks for the help guys. I just completely got rid of the ignition switch and replaced it all with a toggle switch. All four of the thick wires needed power at the same time and since i went with a push button start i didn;t need the "crank" signal wire so i just did away with that too... So now i have a main toggle switch that turns all the power on, then the misc. switches for the fuel pump, MSD, radio etc...
