Need help about sunroof

My sunroof doesn't want to move from the drivers side. Is there a way to dismount it from the inside? What the problem may be?

You need to remove the sunroof. First take out the headliner conver for the sunroof. Is holded in place by a few plastic clips. The using a 10mm socket remove the bolts from the sunroof. Take the sunroof out the car. Then lubricate the rails in the car with some kind of lubricant like WD-40. You need to clean the rails and remove the dust and dry grease from there. WD-40 works great here. After a good cleaning, place the sunroof back and try again to see what happen.. This method resolved the same problem like yours that happened in my car. A lot of dirt and dry grease in the rail channels.

Pop the little circular Cap on the Headliner,In the Car's Roof..This will reveal an Allen type Hole that you put either an Allen Key or Similar socket into. That will allow you to Open and close your Sunroof Manually.Honestly If the Roof won't Budge by doing that, then the tracks and cables(yes Cables) are Corroded, and that would require you to Pop the Headliner, and Pillar stuff,Etc to Drop the Sunroof..It will come out, with a 10mm Socket, and a Phillips screwdriver, as ONE Big Lump of Sunroof Skeleton and the sunroof Skin,Motor and all!

There are some instructions in the FSM for removal of the sunroof mechanism which you can download in the FAQ section. Might not be a bad idea to print them out and have them handy for your project on Monday. Good luck with it.

You will have to break it all appart and hopefully with a lot of lubricating liquid it will break lose in the channel where the motor turns the spiral, Good luck!
