Question Need Help!!!!

ok guy's here the deal. last night it was setting in the drive way and went nut's about 12:30 the horn went off and the light came on. IT'S NOT THE ALARM....
the horn is constant not a beep beep and the light don't pop up when it's doing this so disconected the battery.
i try to put it back on and it will be cool far anyway from a min to 5 min. but it will start to go off sooner or later. so i'm gussing theres a short in it but if any of you have any hint's or think other wise plz help

It sounds like two problems.
The alarm is getting a false signal.
The alarm is not switching the horn & lights on/off.

I would start by pulling the plug on the theft deterrent module in the CPU (by the driver's left foot).

In the S5 on-line manuals, it's in "15- body electrical"

ok now can some one tell me what the BTN fuse is all about i can pull it and it stop and the light will work right but no blinker and radio

BTN = Brakes, Taillights & turn signals, iNterior lights.

And you never answered what light???
horn went off and the light came on.
In your first post in this thread you said a light... what light???

So, the headlights and Horn are going off by themselves at 12:30 am???

Is there an aftermarket alarm or other electrical system installed, as the factory alarm would not control the headlights, even if it did fail.
