need to get an answer quick!! about the front cover

ok i need to replave my front cover on my FC t2 and i am curious which is safer for its removal...

enigne in the car with a 2x4 holding teh clutch in, or taking the engine out and setting the engine on th eflywheel.

The clutch and wood should work. I've remvoved the front pulley/cover and used nothing to hold the eccentric shaft in place. Just lucky I recom. I always measure before installing the bolt, then install.
