I have a 1990 tII Vert S5,Well The question is WHEN I START THE CAR ITS MAKING IDLE IN ABOUT 2000 I DO A DRIVE TEST AND CHECK ENGINE COMES ON AND IDLE START COMING UP AND DOWN AND IF I PRESS THE GAS PEDLE TO MUCH ITS LIKE GETTING TO MUCH GAS AND IT STARTS MOVING SLOW? TK for the help i hope you can help me Tk Again.
TPS adjustment could be needed from what i can comprehend. Type in complete sentences and use lowercase letters and correct grammar. English is good too. If you need help fast then type slower.

little better. do a search on how to adjust the throttle position sensor. Then get back to us on that. If that is within spec then check the timing, spark plugs, and all other stuff like that which could be causing a problem.

If the check engine light is coming up, should he first be pulling codes before he spends time on anything else...

??? pics of the part your talking about would help.and no egr you probably wolnt pass emissions, but other than that there are none that i can think of.
EGR was pretty useless, i dont know what you need to do exactly but its just for emissions

You need to pull the codes and check the tps is adjusted properly.
The tps is the throttle position sensor, it's alil black plunger with a few wires, you'll see it right there on the throttle body
