In Need of detailed write up....

im in need of a detail write up of how to remove the upper intake manifold i think i screwed up big time and i want to know the proper way of doing it ( like all vacuum hoses connected and wires and fuel rail among other things ) , by accident when i tried to remove the fuel rail i leaked fuel into the intake and now im worried so please someone help me out lol

well all of the auto parts stores , canadian tire , and parts source do not have a manual on the rx7

You can find it from an online dealer or download the FSM for your car. There are (fairly) detailed instructions there and useful diagrams.

the fsm i download comes up as weird numbers and letters and no pictures or any thing ? :unno:

Make sure you have up to date adobe. I believe the FSM can be found in the stickies here

you can access the FSM thru the FAQ for FC in the 2nd gen section. Anyways, make sure you remove the long bolt that goes right thru the top of the UIM. Check out www.rotaryresurrection.com he has some good walk thrus that'll have info you need. GL.

Don't worry about fuel in the intake, that is where it ends up anyway. Just take your time and like others have said get a working copy of the FSM. Make sure not to let anything else get into the intake though.

There is a right up out there, I used it for my first removal. It was on some random guys web site.
The UIM isn't that bad (not counting that damn hose) Remember to remove the bolt just infront of the TB.
