Need an appraisal

Ok, so I'm looking at my situation as of right now, and it's not looking good. I have a '91 N/A automatic that I planned to convert to manual, but my plans have been changed. The compression on the front housing is decent (I think it was like 7.6:1 or something) but the rear housing is borderline (it's like 6.53:1) and I really don't have the money/don't see myself having the money in the near future to swap the tranny AND replace the engine. So basically, my option is to either replace the engine and tough it out with an auto (the engine is still too expensive for the near future), or to sell the car I have and buy a manual s5 with decent/good compression. I'm pretty much set on the second, and I'll probably buy a $500 beater between cars because I require a mode of transportation for school and work. So I was wondering how much I should price my car at? I'm hoping to get $2500-3000, but it all depends on what I can find to replace it. Here's some more specs:

1991 N/A Black/Black
100% stock
automatic tranny
low compression on the rear rotor housing
a few dings in the body, but no major dents (except the fender, but a new one is en route)
needs to be painted (clearcoat is pealing, as might be expected of an 11 year old car) and there are 3 VERY small rust spots on the sunroof
power everything, leather interior, leather is worn, but still in decent condition
needs a few minor interior things to be fixed
brand new factory A/C fully charged (but I don't use it due to the low compression)
I might be willing to include the custom-fit $225 neoprene seat covers
87.5k original miles

so, what do you think? I need realistic estimates here, as I'm serious in my intent to sell it.

^bump^

by the way, I forgot to mention that despite the low compression rear housing, the car still runs strong and I've clocked it at about 8 sec 0-60

When you do the compression test, you dont give a compression raito, that doesnt change. You give how much pressure the engine holds, like 120psi.... what you give "7.6:1" is a raito, it reads 'seven point six to one'

i think $2500 would be about right.. just start high though, you never know when someone will just plunker down the big cash.
