Hey guys, due to very poor decision making on my part i am having to get a deep lung device (interlock) installed on my car.
I am wondering if any of you have ever had to get this on your seven, im worried they are going to jack something up that will cause long term damages. Any experience with this out there?

I don't know the laws in Texas, but out here in CA you can forgo the interlock device and just wait until your license is not suspended anymore after you complete the DUI program. So if you can I would just choose not to get it and put up with not driving for a while.
I haven't driven in 3 months already, my license ends suspension soon, but part of my 12 month probation is going to require i have interlock installed....
Don't drink and drive guys, its def not worth it.

It's not a difficult or terribly invasive install and your car should suffer no long term ill effects.
Make sure you carry new tubes in the car...mechanics hate starting cars with old, used tubes.

I've installed a couple of those, it's fairly easy (power, ground, switch etc) It's more like an alarm/starter kill.
So unless the guy who does it is color blind you should be fine.
