Exclamation Name that wire!

When I removed my upper manifold and TB I found a loose wire. It splits from the harness at the same place where the wires for the front primary and secondary injectors split from eachother. It's teal green with a black or dark blue wire. I'm currently looking through the electrical diagrams, but if anyone recognizes it, let me know. Thanks.

Wow, quick response! It's actually right next to the wire for the temp sensor though.

I should mention that it's in a plastic or rubber sheathe by itself.

oxygen sensor, if it's a single black wire
that goes toward back of engine

oops, you have a s5 tII, I was thinking s4, so I am probably wrong, well, you got at least a bump from my post.

My bad, it's a single wire, teal green with a black or blue line by itself in a plastic or rubber sheathe. Damn I'm having trouble typing today.

this one sticking up?

looks it it's for the injector.. but then it would be 2 wires. hard to tell if that is green / yellow with a stripe or 2 wires

I'll see if I can find a better pic of it pluged in

It's the right colour and location for the S5's electric fan temp switch.

I think it's in the picture, its in the bottom left where the connectors for the front two injectors and the wire's for the temp sensor all branch apart. It's the fourth wire that's by itself and wrapped in the plastic sheath.

Electric fan switch? I'll have to go check the switch and see if it matches. Thanks again everyone.

I was looking for the place to plug in the same wire on my 90 gxl. Does anyone happen to have a pic or could tell me exactly where this wire plugs in at?

Thanx
Noel
