Name this tranny???

Hi guys! Here's the story: A friend just bought a new S4 T2 manual transmission that was originally a GXL NA. It is now Turbo. The seller told him it had an FD tranny but I was skeptical after viewing a "push-type" slave on the top of the bell housing. As you can see in the pics it has a custom fabbed tranny mount and threw me off. At this point my guess is that it is a T2 tranny, and the reason for the wierd mount is because the chassis was also originally an automatic transmission.
What do you guys think?
Thanks

Could be Tll or RX-4 box. Is it tilted to one side?

On another note is that solid mount? If the engine isn't solid as well you will end up with shifting problems when the tranny twists.

Sure looks like one...
Can't be an FD tranny...
No PPF mounts in the back of the bell housing.

True, no speedo. i think there's 2 solutions to that. Cut and re-weld the mounts in the proper location in the tranny tunnel where they should be, or... just notch the mount. I like number 1. But it's my buddy's car and he has to do the work. He does have mad skills though.
Are the tranny tunnel mounting points different for auto's and manual tranny's??

Yes, they are. That's why you have that bracket there to make up for it.
