Name this part please

Its a little sensor on the throttle body inlet with 2 prongs and a plug on it w/ 2 wires a black one and a green one. One of these prongs is missing and i want to go buy one but dont know what its called. And does this thing not bieng hooked up correctly have any side affects on the cars performance? like i said one of the prongs is broken so only one plugs in

From your picture it looks like it's the inlet air temp sensor. If it's on the inlet casting that's definately it but I can't quite see if that's it or not. They are not very expensive

It effects the air fuel ratio, but I actually doubt you'll notice one way or the other. This part is common to turbo/non turbo cars. It should be CHEAP. I'd buy one for sure.

It also is involved in HOT STARTING. See the fsm

According to the book, it effects: Lead timing, Trail timing, bac, fpr and fuel injection amount. It seems like it's a part worth replacing. I'd estimate ten bucks MAX at the wrecking yard.

i bought the car with the FD stocks on it already.. Im actually going to sell them because i have another set of rims im going to put on her.
