i raced my brother in my 1990 intergra ls he was in his 91 seven and i beat him pretty hard.
i had an intake, exhuast and an exedy stage 1 clutch.
he had a shitty exhuast, slipping clutch and non working 5th and 6th ports.
yes you will get beat just because the rx7 is heavier even though you have more hp and torque.

You beat a FC NA that wasn't working properly

^ only if a monkeys driving
my 90 na fc easily could take gsr integras. all i had was apexi intake, cat back and a rebuild to stock specs, it was a s5 btw. a gsr w/ a few boltons wasnt that quick, but im done with NA

my daily driver/winter beater is a 96 Integra GS, it has 295 000km ALL STOCK.
and ive beated a lot of more powerful cars (RSX Type S, and other crappy FWD cars). i Have been driving this integra for over 5 years almost every day.
And the N/A will pass it, if you know how to launch and when to shift.
With my S4 N/A which i drove a few months before swapping, i raced a old 91 civic HB with a SiR. and i passed him on the 1/4 by about 2-3 car lenghts.
BTW S4 N/A base model = 1140 KG
96 Integra GS = 1160 kg
so like everyone keep telling you, its all about the driver AND the launch !!

hold on now there are 2 zc motors. the us first gen teggies had the dohc non-vtec one. however there is a sohc vtec zc which was a jdm only motor but is the same as the d16z6 found in the 92-95 ex models.

You'll probably beat him.
I raced a LS in my stock pickup truck when I had it for god sakes...and won. He was a crappy driver, but LS's are slow as ****.

Stock for stock, NA FCs have better 0-60s than the newest Integras. But FCs are only half a second to 1 second faster, so you better be a good driver and your car better be in tune. Heck, his exhaust might even make it an equal match.
The RSX is even slower than the Integra, btw. Above is for latest "Integra" Integra.

The reason I say he'll lose is because my lil G1 TEG(before the b sersies sap and ITBs) would walk a NA FC, and the only thing done to it was ZC cams which is the main difference between the US and the ZC motors. The 2g teg has more power and a better trans but weighs slightly more than a G1.

N/A is good for reliability, I love my GTU, but I feel like I actually have to try and I am getting sick of rice boys wanting to race. I am getting a tii swap this summer (if everything works out). I am looking forward to being able to toy with people and not even trying. You know, pull at half throttle, let them catch up slowly and then take off.
