NA/turbo OMP difference?

did some searching and couldnt come up with any real CONCRETE answers.

while working on my car, my dad managed to throw out/lose my S4 T2 OMP. i have a friend who has a very low KM S4 N/A OMP with new o-rings, and im hoping i can use that and buy it off him really cheap, instead of having to try and find a T2 OMP, if they are infact, not compatable.

can anyone tell me if the S4 OMPs are swappable? thanks!

See the LUBRICATION SECTION of the FSM. The flow rates for the na and turbo are not the same. The piston in the Turbo one has a larger bore. Also see the parts fische on this forum for the part numbers. I bet they are different numbers. Screw premox

Frankly I don't see a problem using the na omp til you get a turbo one. Just stay out of extended boost for a while and maybe adjust the rod so it starts pulling the lever up some at idle. Like no slack in it.

well, the car isnt going to be driven. due to unfortunate work issues this summer ive saved like NO money for this coming school year, so i have to pawn off the T2 for half of what its worth, so i can afford to eat ......

hopefully i can find a OMP. just posted an add in the second gen section. thanks guys.

I have a full stock S4 TII OMP with lines. I'll double check that it's in good shape when I get home. You can have it if you pay for shipping, so you can eat on your studently budget.

Hmm, I never knew they were different part numbers/different in general! I guess if I have a failed OMP again, I'll have to remember that.

Probably just a typing error, but the S5 uses an electric pump.

84-88 13B Non-Turbo 14-6000-N246
86-88 13B Turbo 14-6000-N318
89-92 13B All (Electric Pump) 14-600B-N350
93-95 13B All (Electric Pump) 14-6000-N3A2
