very different! turbo need a lot more cooling than a n/a... put a n/a rad on a TII in the desert and you WILL overheat.

I dont know my radiator in my 88 GTU was exactley the same as the one in my 87 TII....................... also I ended up doing the Turbo conversion to the 88 GTU and using the stock radiator and my aftermarket gauge has never showed any signs of overheating even in 90+ degree heat. I had it roded out at one poing it time but I would recomend that to anyone.

Same part number. Same part. See http://www.mazdaformance.com/rx7parts.htm only the automatic is different....and turbo's don't have automatics.

It has a seperate cooler at the bottom of the radiator for the auto transmission.

A difference that I did notice on a 90 vert auto was, that it had a small electric fan on in to help cooling.

Electric fan between the condensor and radiator? TIIs have that also..

What's the seperate cooler Hailers? Would it benefit a TII?

Most automatic transmissions need their transmission oil cooled. The very bottom of the radiator is seperated from the rest and cools the ...automatic transmission oil. No help for non turbos to be had there. The above is the total info I know about automatc transmissions..
