Yeah usually it is cheaper to find a turbo rx-7 than convert to turbo.

Unless you get a great deal on all the components for the swap.

Searching would answer all these questions though. They are covered on a daily basis it seems.

how good are you at working on cars???

do you have tools???

do you have another car to drive???

if you answered yes to all of these questions you can do whatever you want, if no to even one save your time and just find a TII

Everyone has different luck.

If you check the for sale section for parts, some people offer everything there is to swapping your car to turbo. Or you can find a complete turbo car with a small problem for cheap in teh 2nd gen for sale section. The regional section might have a for sale thread. Craigslist.org autotrader.com

Just spend time looking.

Honestly, unless you really want a project (or find a REALLY good deal), you are probably better off with just buying a turbo car.
Adding a turbo to an NA is a whole lot of work, and involves custom fabrication of several parts. That leave swapping the drivetrain, which is a good bit of work and can be screwed up.

Here is a good run-down on what it takes: http://rotaryresurrection.com/2ndgen...to_turbo2.html
