I changed my mind about the n/a tranny being able to take the power of a boosted motor as long as you odnt launch... IT doesnt.... I was running 15psi on a t70 for like 2 months and the tranny just gave up.... So now im doing a TII drivetrain swap.... The n/a tranny is good enough, if you just plan to do a TII conversion and keep at near stock power level..

Under what circumstances did it give up, and how did it die?

From pictures I've seen, I think the teeth on the main shaft can't handle the additional torque, even if you're driving conservatively.

Not under heavy load.. I wasnt tuned so 5 psi is max without shooting out 5gps and lighting my rear bumper on fire... I was on 5th, although I did tune it myself and was actually feeling extremely fast, but I was gunna take it to a tuner so I reloaded the base map. Base is meant for 4x550 Im running 2x550 + 2x1600.

I believe it took enough abuse, not to mention that I never launched it and I never power shifted or flatshifted the car... I was basicallly clutchless shifting..
