i have a 1989 gtu and i was wondering, i have a turbo and an intercooler now what else do i need to make it turbo like fuel pump ecu etc....

 

intake and exhaust manifold, Turbo II drivetrain, after market ECU, injectors, fuel pump, downpipe am i forgeting anything???

 

Please take the time to read the sticky at the top of this page, So the other members don't have to waste their time explaining something (that odds are YOU will never accomplish)

 

but what if you're not doing the TII swap. I want to turbo the engine I have, and continue to use the drivetrain I have in the car.

MazdamanGTU....your question is very similar to one I asked not but a couple of days ago. They know how to do a TII swap, but for what it cost you could prolly find a TII. I don't think anyone here knows how to just throw on a turbo.

 

you cant just "throw on a turbo"

You would need all of these things to "throw a turbo on"
