N/A Owners ONLY!! How many miles until your engine died?
Sold my 86 n/a to a guy with 245,000 miles on it. Still ran like a bat outa hell!
May have been rebuilt before I got it with 160,000 miles on it, but I couldnt see any signs of a rebuild or engine pull.

178k
I just sold my 90 GXL with 178,000 miles.
It was bone stock and still had good power with normal oil burn.
Never had any problems with the engine, or really anything else major with it. It just needed alot of other parts due to age/mileage.

yep 13 years old 90 convertable blue 5 speed with jsut turned 106,000 miles all I have is 2 universal deep tone mufflers, its sounds bad as, my car runs real strong too I over heated it once but it wasnt serious its a good car original top too..
At 163,xxx miles I either blew a coolant seal which popped a radiator hose or popped a radiator hose which blew a coolant seal. Left me stranded two hours from ******* anywhere (but I still love my NOPSTNS). Basically was my fault, though. (Edit: yeah, 110mph for 140 miles will do that to an old car with a dead radiator hose to begin with, heh. Whoops.)

1st motor went at 140,000..two apex seals on rear rotor
new engine gets steam cleaned all the time (jug of water, vacc. hose in jug, slurp slurp)...and has had MMO and atf sitting in the housings for a couple weeks while the engine was being put in. Running premix now too...I blame my 1st motor popping on the old lady that had it for all its life before me and never took it above 3k. Rotors had HUGE amounts of carbon buildup on them....new engine has between 90-100k on it...running strong. Doesnt burn oil at all...no smoke period..except on start up from premix.

My '90 lost an apex seal at 86k. I'm on a rebuild now with about 48k seems to be fine so far. Just wondering though, do you use 2-stroke for premix, and how much? And do you keep th MOP in place as well?

My 1988 RX7 SE has 230K miles due to good maintenance and still pulls strong despite some compression loss - Mazda compression tester recently indicated engine chambers are ok. Use MMO with engine oil change to clean carbon build-up and fuel injector cleaner with gas.
