Question n/a compression tube on turbo

Has anyone ever used the compression tube from an N/A on there Turbo to mount a FMIC. I have one already and I know it will bolt up fine. There is a purge control valve that will have to be relocated, and I will have to tap a hole for the air intake temp sensor. Other than that do you think it will work fine? It looks like it has a bigger opening than the Greddy compression tube wondering if that would affect it negatively.

If I remember correctly the oil fill tube will have to be cut down to reduce its height. Otherwise it works fine.
