My TII not starting? HELP! =( its my DD.
alright and as far as this black plug can i unplug it and test it on the end coming from the fuse box? and it would be the LED+ wire going in that plug then i just need a ground, correct?
Correct, but make sure the wire you are testing is the one from the engine fuse box.
the wire im testing under the dash is the solid black wire in the two wire plug that has a black/white wire and a solid black wire and the solid one is the one im testing, yes? just to make sure.
If the Black wire has voltage at the ignition switch then you need to check if the voltage is able to be passed on to the other ignition wires. So as I stated earlier ***** the B/W wire while plugged into the ignition switch while the key is to on and check for voltage. So the + LED wire to the pin and the - LED wire to the ground which I'm guessing you used the ground at the relay I pointed out and it made a difference when measuring the Black wire.
You could tell if voltage is being passed on to the B/W in a different manner than illustrated above. With key to on the B/W wire in the Circuit Opening Relay should have voltage w/key to on. The B/W wire at the relay is located in the top row center location which happens to be diagonal from the Black ground wire. + LED wire to the B/W wire and - LED wire to the Black ground wire and w/key to on the light should illuminate.
If the B/W wire at the relay has voltage then the B/W wire at the ignition has to have voltage but if the B/W at the ignition switch has voltage then the B/W wire at the relay might not have voltage.
no i didnt use the relay to retest the solid black wire. But now that im looking to test the b/w wire in the relay. my car doesnt have the relay??
if you look back at the picture i posted of the wires going into the switch, those wires go right back to the plugs. One of which is the plug with the solid black wire and the b/w wire. so what if my car doesnt have the relay just test the b/w wire?

ok weirdest thing ever...i just wanted to see if this would do anything. so i go out and just lightly hit the back of the ignition switch and push on it and turned the key and she fired right up. wwwwwwwwoooooooooowwwwwwww
no i just put the LED+ wire into the clip with the b/w wire like i did with everything else. and no should the key be to on to test it?
edit and grounded it to the solid black wire obviously.

Ok just to clear things up. I tested to solid black wire at the plug that has the solid black wire and the b/w wire going into it, the solid black wire does have constant voltage as i did get the LED to light up. Next you told me to test the b/w wire on that same plug and i didnt get the LED to light up. You then told me to test the b/w wire on the relay and ground it to the solid black wire on the relay. i just did that with the key to "ON" and i got nothing as you can see in the picture attached. I didn't ***** the wire but the way i did this worked with the other wires. I have tested the wires as you have said. just didnt ***** the wires. So is the picture you can see the best i could get a picture that i have the +LED in the b/w wire in the top middle of the relay and the -LED in the solid black wire in the bottom left of the relay. and the LED did not light up.
Im really trying here...just not good with electrical stuff.

If you decided to test the B/W wire at the relay then for the wire to have voltage then the B/W wire at the ignition switch must have voltage and the only way that is possible is if the ignition switch is working properly and the key is to on. If the key is not to on then the B/W ignition wire has no voltage and it is this wire that basically feeds the B/W relay wire so how is this wire to have voltage if the key is not turned to on in addition to the ignition plug not being connected to the switch?
the plug is connected to the switch. I never disconnected it...
And if you see on the picture attached i didnt unplug anything to put the LED wires into the relay. That is how i tested the solid black wire on the plug to the switch. I never had to unplug it. I understand how to test the wire. The b/w wire does not have power going through it.

Are you talking about the plug to the ignition switch or to the relay? When I talk about the B/W wire I either mention the one to the switch (ignition) or the one to the relay to prevent confusion!
I never disconnected either one...i put the LED+ wire into the clip along with the whatever wire it is im testing. and it worked with the solid black on the plug to the ignition. but it didnt on the b/w on the ignition plug or the relay.
So after these tests on the various wires, and if they show no voltage then remove the plug w/the Black wire and see if the Black wire is pulled back in the plug and thus not making contact with the switch as this could be the cause of your problem. If that isn't it then you likely need a new switch and they can be had for $140 at Mazdatrix.
Just put a used switch in from an s4 n/a. Now when i turn the key nothing at all happens. not even the one short beep i had before.
im at a loss of words...more frustration than i can handle.
I dont understand how the %$&@ it doesn't do anything now.
what is going on...please someone out there must know!
