Yeah hey, liek last night when i was abot to leave my friends house... like my car... wouldnt start.. like when i tried starting it it wouldnt even crank... it would juts click, right now we are charging the battery but i was wondering if it could be the result of something else.. because everythign in my cf worked properly when my car wouldnt start.... my cd player even worked just fine. Please HELP!! thanks. richie.

try push starting it when you have a dead battery

 

hmm ok.. i just changed the battery with a brand new battery, and it is still just clicking...... its not even tryyying to strat.. could it be the battery cables or the starter?

 

That happens to me too. Its the starter. if u have a hammer pound on it and go start the car it should start right up. Another thing u could do is put your clutch in first gear and have someone push ur car for u and then pop the clutch it should start right up.

 

Get you one of those life time warranty Starters from Autozone or Advanced.. that way you'll never have to pay again for one.. I got warrantys on all my parts...

woot, got my starter rebuild at some place.. for liek 110.. LIFETIME WARRENTY BABYY!! places do alternator rebuilds too dont they? and if soo.. how much? thanks. richie.

 

its ur starter motor! i just type wat to look at if u strip it apart! if u have a hayes manual its in there and telll u how to do it
but u can pm me and will help u out coz at work we fix starters all the time!
