My sun roof flew off on the freeway!

It must of flew 100 ft in the air. That sucked. Anyways does anyone know how much it costs to have a guy do a plexiglass sunroof. And is it possible to put silver tint on it?

hahahahaha

Man, that is hilarious.. I realize you are probably not happy about it now, but I can just imagine being behind someone and seeings a sunroof shoot from their car flying into the air.

Did you go back and pick it up? How did it come unconnected?

talk about weight reduction Ah well, I'm sure someone knows the price for one, or you could always go to the junkyard. Much better than having a ripped convertible top to say the least.

are there places that will do a plexiglass replacement for that? and if so will it still be a sliding sunroof or will it just be like a hatch you can crack open on one side?

hahaha damn dude, i know that had to have sucked. but actualy your not the first person ive heard of to lose a sunroof on a car. a friend of mine had broken latches on his 944 and he never got around to replacing them. well needless to say he lost his sunroof a few times. lol, after the 3rd time it seperated from the car and made its solo flight, it was too badly damaged to put back on the car so he had to buy a new one, with new latches of course.

my friend had his T-top fly off during a race one time. It hit the guys windshield. The guy later said that he only lost by a car length. How is that possible when traveling over 100 mph. Anyway the T-top hit the windshield made a rock chip size hole in the window then it glanced down the side of the car and dented it all up.
