Exclamation My smoking 7.... again(but different...HELP)

Ok, i posted before about my 7 blowing out excessive smoke when shifting.... but only when shifting at above 5500 rpm....
here is what i have found, if i drive and keep the engine in the 5 to 6k range it starts to blow smoke, also if i shift at that point or above it blows smoke. I tried a test saying to rev the engine to around 4K in neutral and see if it blows any smoke... there was none, however, i then took it up to around 5k and it started throwing smoke.... is it still the oil seals or whatever (meaning i need to learn how to rebuild a wankel).. if this is true i was thinking that i only notice more smoke now because the cats arent sucking out some of the smoke....

OR.. could it be that when i was doing my headers i accidentally broke an oil metering line... i fixed it by just sticking a larger piece of hose over the broken end and clamping the new hose at both ends onto the old hose.... i admit it is kinda ghetto but it seemed ok, but perhaps there something got thrown off by this

again this is an uneducated theory, but it kinda makes sense... maybe, allitle... i dunno

oh yeah and to enlighten you all i have driven the 7 for about a year, and i most of my car experience is on classic cars.... mainly studebaker and packard... therefore i am mechanically able, but not so great with vacum hoses and electrical computer crap and stuff like that, so anyways id prolly rebuild it myself if it needs it... anyways dont know why im sayin this but.... yeah

thanks alot again

sorry for the length.. lol

oil seals.

you should take that old OMP line off and just use the new larger one. While your at it, you should replace all four with nice supple soft new hose.

do i need to remove the intake manifold to get at the OMP lines.... also, assuming it is the oil seals... when i check the compression are there any will it be affected.. (lowered)???

finally how long do i have left on the engine.... assuming its not too bad right now, will it just use some oil but go for.... 20-30K maybe???

thanks again
