Is my rx7 stock?

Edit: this video was not made for the purpose of figuring out if it is stock or not. My boost guage doesn't work, and I don't know much about rotary engines when modified. I have a video of a pull from 2nd at 30mph. Let me know if you think that i stock accelleration

The link did not work for me why don't you take some pictures of the engine compartment and possibly the exhaust on the car

the stock boost gauge does not work? then u may want to take a look at the boost sensor ont he passenger side shock tower, perhaps the line has come off or something... you should fix that before beating on it....

I see you have a few other older threads... did u put a new engine in your car? or did the old knocking noise thing go away?

I don't think it seems stock to me

engine bay pics would be a good idea

and what kind of exhaust and intake u have.

I am in the process of taking the motor out now. Just need to unbolt trans and it is ready to come out, so i'm pretty far in now. I was just wondering so i know what to expect when I take it apart.

Can back probe voltage from boost pressure signal and check to make sure it's calibrated. Seems to pull like stock.

This video was made before it started making a knocking noise, plus the apex seals were bad already, so now i'm rebuilding. Or trying.... But it is all I have to figure it out before I get it apart.

Mainly apex seals (was flooding and smoking all the time) but it was making a knocking sound, like an apex seal floating around in the housing.

Probably your best indication that the engine is indeed, stock.

After, get a working boost gauge. If you use a fuel cut defender I don't think boost gauge will be accurate. I think the same goes for a rtek ecu. Also get a wideband. Always nice to know your wastegate is functioning properly and you're not leaning out, and keep fuel cut from happening

yeah the oem gauge a FCD clamps the voltage reading off the boost sensor so the guage doenst read true past that level, bur the stock gauge doenst read very high anyway maybe like 7-8 psi? cant rmemeber the conversion for units....
