My rx7 flooded but when is cold

Hi, I live in Costa Rica, so my English is not good , but I will try to explain my problem and will appreciate all your help.

My Rx7 flooded when is cold (not the regular problem when you drive a couple of blocks and it flooded).

I have installed a switch to turn off the fuel pump and it works, but I'm trying to really solve the problem.

Someone told me that maybe the problem could be the pulsation damper (I dont know, the thing is it cost like $150 and I don't wanna spent money in false solutions)

Another thing is that the car don´t do the regular start that use to do (you know to go up until 1900 rpm and after some minutes go down around 1000 rpm)

So, any idea or advice will be appreciate.

Thank you in advance for all your help.

leaking injectors or perhaps the coolant temp sensor.

leaking injectors is difficult because they are new, but probably the coolant temp sensor could be cause I never change it since I have my car (in 10 years). THANKS

Any other advice will be appreciate.

By the way, what about the pulsation damper? Its is important to change it? why?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the pulsation damper (p.d.) takes back pressure from the upper fuel rail,
and it needs to be replaced about every 150,000 miles since they start to leak after that.

Many people substitute a banjo bolt for the p.d since they're only $10 and there has never been any proof of them hurting anything. But no, the p.d. isn't your problem.

I might try turning off the car with my foot on the gas to get the extra fuel out of the chambers. But someone else might want to back this up first...

Did you check compression?

For the record, your english is better than that of many Americans.
