Just a tiny update, I now have a tach signal and the Haltech stays online while cranking. Chris Ludwig pointed out a stupid error on my behalf.
She should be running as soon as I get my water hoses all sorted out

make sure you have you coil dwell times correct. I accidentally had mine set to the fd dwell times on teh fc coils and i had ignition breakup issues.

On you vmount, make sure you make some ducting. If you have good ducting you wont have to worry about the positioning of you vmic setup as much.

I am impressed with you build, you seem to be doing everything correctly, the first time. Doing things right the first time saves you a lot of time down the road. Ive spent many many hours correcting things that the previous owner did (with good intention) that were just half assed. Also, it is a good call getting all the kinks worked out of the car with a near stock motor. It is probably best that you figure out how to drive the car with the stock fd motor before you really start building power, although I didnt practice what i preach.....Drove the car with stock turbo 2 or 3 times before tearing it all apart and trying to make big power... but i like to think i have some sort of self control wiht the gas pedal.

Haha, yeah, doing things wrong usually nips you hard with these, but so far it's looking all good! My only gripe is it's non-seqential!

Thanks guys, I've been getting help from my buddy now so its a little smoother when I have another person to talk things over with.
When my new spark plugs get here, Ill set up a timing light and hopefully have her fired up

Here's a short video of it running.
I have bad map sensor, so when it shuts down after applying more throttle then what I did in the video.
PS, battery is relocated to the bin, but I havent completed the wiring yet.
