my planned set up

I have owned my 1987 TII for a while and have planned some modifications

I currently have a RB catback on there

I am adding:
-Bonez High flow cat
-RB downpipe
-Cone filter w/airbox

Based on my research, I should be safe, but I wanted to be certain that i could do these modifications safetly on the stock fuel set up and ECU. Will I hit fuel cut? What sort of HP bonus should this whole system bring (over stock)

your gonna hit fuel cut, and you NEED to port your wastegate also. Look into the rtek upgrade its worth the money....

Go with Rtek 1.8 and run four 720cc injectors. That's what I am going to be doing hopefully.

I've heard eliminating fuel cut may cause engines to blow up soon thereafter when running hard. Know what you are doing if you are taking it off.

only way that eliminating fuel cut would blow your engine would have to be a bad mixture of not enough fuel, non ported wastegate, and tons of boost creep!

+1 on the Rtek 1.7-1.8, and ported wastegate. if you have extra to spend, go ahead and get a BNR hybrid turbo. thatll take care of your wastegate problem and give you a new, much better turbo that you will make a good bit more power on
