I wrestled all the way through High School. I got a scholarship to go to Ithaca but didnt want to leave Florida (and I would have probably been benched most the time b/c of my torn shoulder)... Now, I am a sophmore in college and I just practice martial arts and work out during my spare time (and work on my car)... I am 5'10 225lbs. As of right now I bench 315lbs (2X including full lock out on each) and I sqat and I only sqat 495lbs (thats using 5 45lb plates on each side and a 45lb olympic bar.... also 2X).... The fact that you are lifting so much at such a young age is incredible... If I were that strong, I would have won states every year... lol...

Anyway, my cousin is 6'6 350lbs and he fit into the Base model 87 RX7 (passengar side)... besides my car feeling a little sluggish from carrying the 2 of us around, there were no major issues... The FC has more KNEE room than my 1996 Lincoln Continental.

I have ample room in mine, only thing is, I have to move the seat to open the bins because of the length of my legs + an agle I've just grown comfortable with

This car was built by small japanese people. I think it all depends on how you sit though. I am 5'9" 160 lbs. and I fit perfectly, but my spikey hair is like 2 inches, so it pokes the top, maybe its because i dont like to lean back all the way like some people. I think 6' is the average limit according to 7 owners I know in town. but anyone around my size is the best for the 7, because I have enough room and comfort with a little extra more to adjust whether I wanna lean back or sit up straight or bend my legs a bit or keep em kinda straight. The thing that hurts you is your 260 lbs. im guessing in 3-6 years you will be 6'3-6'4 and weigh 280-300. Better do some running and turn it all to muscle. anyways, buy a 7 regardless, you wont regret it. I sit very uncomfortable in my old 91 miata with my thighs 10 cm away from touchin the steering wheel yet i dont regret every second I drove it, and plan to buy another one again for dd. jut buy the rx-7 t2 already. this kinda thing shouldnt stop you.

I'm 6'1", 250#, 30" inseam.
I'm not built like you, but I fit snugly in the FC.
It helps that I run a slightly smaller aftermarket steering wheel (350mm MOMO Race) and a custom 1.5" steering extender.
I tend to hit the bottom of the steering wheel on ingress and egress, and I periodically hit the wiper switch with my right knee.
I wear size 13 shoes, and I sometimes get them twisted to get at the pedals when getting in the car.

I still have the stock seat, but hopefully I'll end up with an aftermarket one (Sparco EVO2) with some custom sliders to drop the seat height lower.

Yes, using a Bell MAG4 (size XL) makes for a tight fit with the sunroof closed!

If you are going to be going off topic, please move it to the Lounge or private messaging. The generational forums are for tech issues and issues related to the car only. Thanks.

the real question is will you fit fine with a bulky helmet on
Im only 5'8" and I hit the roof when I wear a helmet
it only rubs the top though so its nothign I cant live with, and many people taller then me aprarntly do it so...

I'm 6'3" 250lbs and I fit quite comfortably. The seat's all the way back and reclined, but it's more than comfortable for me. I've been to a few track days too and I can fit with a helmet on, but I've got to slide forward and recline a bunch to get enough headroom, but even like that it's been comfortable for 20-30 minutes of track driving, and would be fine for much longer. I've driven it for 8+ hours at a time without getting uncomfortable (no more than any other car I've been in for that long).

Jesus Christ, You must be a toothpick. I am 6 foot and weigh 200 I feel my upper torso is too tall. I have a hard time wearing a helmet. I also have stock seats (for now)
