My idle is screwed worse then a hooker on 3rd street....help!

My 90 GTUs is supposed to idle at 750. It's idleing at 1500, on a really good day. I've played with the throttle, it's the lowest it'll go where the car will still start. anyone have any tips??

Whooo boy! You and EVERYONE else!

Try searching first. High idle is usually caused by Vacuum leaks.

My '87 TII was ideling at 1800 and the problem was the 'wax pellet' actuator that is supposed to fully extend when the coolant temperature increases. Mine was not extending so I wired that throttle open. There are three throttle shafts, this is the one closest to the drivers side. Not sure if the setup is the same on your car.
