The best way you should drive it? Shift at 4k rpm. Don't hit your syncro's. And dont try and type of shifting you saw in F&F.

Save the engine, and the car.

I agree with Infini, drive the **** out of it, when it pops, rebuild engine and repeat.

i drive mine hard and i baby it, there is a happy medium and to me it seems that both live just fine with each other.

i don't see the point of owning a turbo car if all you do is drive it like a geo metro, on the other hand, driving it like you are on the circuit will tend to break parts quickly and leave a hole in your wallet.

my suggestion is keep the car maintained and do all of the service work at regular intervals.

Congrats man. Like you said, dont beat on it till its warmed up, let it idle down for a couple minutes when you go to shut it down after a hard drive. And look around the web and this forum to find the best products and techniques for your maintenance. Oh, yeah, take it to the redline at least once a day, hehehe.

Just drive it easy. I'll drive my TII/3C like a grandma because there are those times when you just want to floor the crap out of it, so thats why I save it till those *special* moments. I'll redline it probably once a day, maybe twice but thats it, but you can still haul ***** without having to redline it
