My dyno chart from this weekend.

For everyone who hasnt seen it in the single turbo section.

Heres the specs of the run.

-15psi
-94 octane pump fuel
-8.5:1 rotors
-TO4B 60-1, P trim, 0.84 tang exhaust housing
-85deg and almost %100 humidity (very hot out!)

Overall im pretty please with the 405hp but was disapointed with the torque. Im thinking it had alot to do with the weather. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Brian

Awsome HP!

Is that corrected for a turbo? If not, yes that weather would have quite an affect (standard correction is for NA and weather affects them MUCH less).

Nice #s, Ian

Glad it never gets over 65 deg here...

Any idea what the rear wheel HP and Tq is? It says flywheel graph at the very top in small print.

Those #'s are wheel HP and TQ readings.

Is that as high as your going to go? I'd love to see it turned up to like 20psi

Nope, im going to keep adding boost and tweak the tuning till Im right about at 20psi. The run was just to see what my car would do with pump gas.

smaller ports would up your torque, as would more pressure. remember torque = displacement.

was the turbo chocking up top, hence the large margin between the two. I don't know the specs, so i'm just guessing.

There were no signs that the turbo was choking at all. The specs are in the 1st post.

I fear your turbo lag, as your setup is a lot like mine :P

Great HP, but what's up with the Torque? Even with the weather I would have expected ~315ish, at least that high up in the revs.
Have you thought about going to maybe 8500 rpm? It doesn't look like your power is dropping off at all. The torque peaks at ~7000 or 7500, but since your torque figures are kinda out of wack to begin with for whatever reason, they may peak a little higher, too.

Check your PMs a little later tonight, too. I've got some questions for you.

With a .84 A/R turbine, he shouldn't be lagging too much at all

Nice numbers but your right the torque looks a bit low. Have you ever run on that dyno before?

Nice numbers.. I hope to get mine up there sometime in the near future. But first I have to change out some parts.

That's wild how it jumps 30hp in the last 800 rpm...

It might be you've got the primary ports too large which will kill the mid-range a bit. The turbo itself is setup pretty well although I would vote for going to a larger hotside.

Good horsepower; the torque is shy about 50ft/lbs of where it should be.

How big are the exhaust ports?&nbsp If the exhaust port has been moved extensively up or down, this'll kill torque.&nbsp Early exit of the exhaust gases decreases the time the combustion charge can "work" on the "crank" (or e-shaft) - very early opening of the exhaust port causes drastic drops in torque.

For example, I run a very early opening exhaust port (almost 1" lower than stock), which killed my torque numbers.&nbsp My car dyno'd 253.9hp at the wheels, but only making 207lb-ft of torque on that particular run.&nbsp I run these very large exhaust ports for top end power only.&nbsp For a broader power band (i.e. keep torque high), I wouldn't port the exhuast port as heavily...

My exhaust ports open approx 3/8" earlier then a stock port but close at the same as stock.

Hmmm...that's not an especially wild port.&nbsp You did a recent compression test?
