assuming you did it right, you've got a timebomb under the hood.

pull the motor now so you can save the housings (if they are still in spec)

what i did was unscrewed each sparkplug at a time. leaving the other 3 in and unplugged the spark plug wires plug the compression tester in the hole and cranked until i had 3 pluses.. so does that mean i did it right?>

Even with the throttle wide open it is not going to yield a huge increase. Those results tell me that your car is very hard to start, you must be using a fuel cut off switch every time.

wrong, .... make sure you have a GOOD charged battery or hook it up to the battery starter/charger thing and set to CRANK so you get a current.... remember test in the book says at least 300 rpms or something like that for a correct test..... if you dont have a hold of one of those take out all the spark plugs and put one in the TRAILING only of the one you are testing....

now take the valve out of the tester
have someone crank the motor over with the pedal to the floor
WATCH each pulse on the tester
it should bump up each time, remember there is 3 sides to each rotor to test
long as you get 3 decent bumps within spec per say 90 90 90 then you are in good shape but say you get

90..... 0 ..... 0 then that is no good, bad apex seal..... repeat the process for the next rotor
