Exclamation my buddys rx7 dyno problem.....

stock 2nd 1991 na dyno 117 whp advanced timing headers msd and muffler they said in the dyno that the car was running to rich so i checked the car and after 4k the car keeps going but super slow like it was too lean or to rich ..... nobody know wht could that be ??? please let me know thankss

the kid lost the sheet but any ideas?? could that be the secondary injectors
?

That doesn't sound stock to me - maybe "stock except for...". Did you guys try a run with factory ignition timing just for ***** and giggles?

no the car had the timing advanced before i saw it but we tried retarding but nothing diferent

Maybe 6PI not working (auxiliary ports) or VDI?

Throttle sensor adjustment, air restriction?

VDI - variable dynamic effect intake

Essentially changes the lenghts and routing of air along the intake runners. See FSM 89-91, pages chapter F1-45 to 47.

But I doubt just that would account for all the loss of power, though.
