Mounting hardware for TII spoiler, need help.

I cannot find the hardware for the two screws on each end of the spoiler. Do I use nuts like I would if it were a bolt? I could not find any that would fit them.

edit: are these literally supposed to just screw into the body?

You’re definitely not going to find a nut for those threads, they look like wood screw threads. It’s weird there’s no self tapping tip like you’d expect though.

There is a plastic insert that gets pressed into the body. Those tapping screws then thread into the plastic insert.

They rust over time too, just redid mine with stainless hardware. The cap for that screw comes off and you can press the old one out backwards. Just replaced with an M5 bolt, washer with threadlocker.

Honestly I just made sure to drill the hole for the screws a few steps smaller and let them tap themselves into the sheet metal, and I haven't noticed any loosening. They're pretty redundant with the studs there anyway IMHO.
