I already tried search, can you all help me?

I have an 87 TII that for some reason, never came with the spoiler. I got the spoiler off of ebay (it's even the right color! whoo hoo!) but I need to know if you guys have any tips for mounting it. I know I need to drill, and probably yank out the back interior of the car, but what else do I need to do? Are there special mounting brackets I need? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nope, just drill..

Remember that the front location on each side is a screw, not a bolt, so make the hole small and screw it down. Or replace with a bolt/nut.

Find nuts for the spoiler, if you don't have them already, BEFORE drilling your holes That way you don't get stuck with holes but no spoiler

Be sure to paint the edges of the drilled holes with rust inhibiting paint, and seal the screws with silicone cauking so you don't get leaks.

BTW: the 87 T2 didn't come with a rear spoiler from the factory.

Mazda didn't add that feature until 88

MY 87 TII had no spoiler. I like it that way.
