Motorswap Done, Tuned By J&R

Swapped a S4 T2 motorset into my S5 NA. Finally got it back from the tuning shop, where I told them I wanted between 220 and 240 RELIABLE hp, since this is a drift car. For right now those numbers are perfect for me to learn more control with more power.

This was at a low boost setting of 10psi on a stock S4 turbo.

Mods can be seen here.

The tuning was done by the guys at J&R Performance / Smokin Joe Racing in Elmont, NY. *very reputable and good guys, knows their stuff!*

I'm very happy with the way she turned out, and will post more later.

Nice results for 10# on the stock turbo. I can't wait for a standalone!

How does your FC hold up to more common drifters, 240's, ae's?

Stock TII's make what, like 170 to the wheels? Big improvement with stock turbo. I got a ride in it today and its NICE. Besides, only 10psi, going to be making more later. To make near 300 you would need an some sort of aftermarket turbo i'd assume.

where I told them I wanted between 220 and 240 RELIABLE hp,
well, he may have been able to get more HP than that, but if he told them 220-240 hp, that's probably what they tuned it for.

also, you can't really make more than like 250 whp with the stock turbo, right?

What are you smoking?
Those numbers are perfectly fine.
NO STOCK FC TURBO is going to come close to 300 at the wheels.
BEST numbers I've seen was 26x at the wheels from something that had a stand-alone and FMIC.

For stock ECU and stock TMIC, those numbers are perfectly fine.
