Motor Problems
Ok i have an 87 N/A and last night i was racing my friend and possibly blew a seal... my collant resisavor is empty all of a sudden and warning lights turned on for "Add Coolant"... also it smells like its burning coolant so then i turned on my car and it sounded like my clutch wasnt gripping... so i let my car cool down and it would start so i left it parked on a street and it turned on in the morning and i brought it home and not it wont turn on... so i pretty much need a rebuilt? or would anybody have a S4 Turbo II motor and ecu laying around that would want to sell?

hmm....do the coolent seal check, there are plenty of write ups on it, just let the car isle to running temp, turn it off, open the cap on the coolent neck and check for bubbles
if you get some then its a bad coolent seal and time for rebuild, (that should be how you do it, if i remember correctly) if not, check around your rad for leaks i suppose.

Did you check for coolant leaks? Maybe a hose bursted when you were racing. Did you refill the coolant and try the geyser test? It was probably steam coming from the radiator area, not smoke. Check for any leaks. The low coolant buzzer/light came on probably because part of the coolant system broke (hose, cracked radiator, etc.) You still may have blown a coolant seal depending on how high the temp got. Did you watch the temp gauge?
