They have both stock replacements and "competition" mounts that are stiffer. I got the competition mounts and like them a lot.

How are the Mazdaspeed competition mounts compare to polyurethane mounts?

Anyone got experience from both? I've been looking to purchase new mounts myself, and want to know which is better.

Solid mounts might be overkill, but they are about the same price, some cheaper, so I'm also thinking about those.

Anyone care to comment?

i went and checked a couple local auto parts stores to get a feel on their pricing and they were all in the $80 range each but they also said the tranny mounts are the same parts number, is this true?

I think Mariah Motorsports has any hardness you want as far as mounts and bushings..

I got the mazdaspeed ones myself. I'll tell you all how they are tomorrow after I install them. Assuming it's as easy as I tell myself it is.

I went with the Banzai racing polyurethane mounts. Stiffer than mazdacomp, not nealy as crazy as solid mounts. Plus they wont deteriorate from oil like rubber.

thats a little too hardcore for me.

the polyurethane ones are too stiff for me in a way they are kinda like a solid mount because they have a damn bolt going through the middle of them...

How do you know if your mounts need replacement? I haven't really done a visual inspection on them, but the engine rocks a bit in the bay when it's idling and feels a little rough even though it sounds like it's going smooth from the exhaust.
