Motor mount issue

Just a quick question? I changed out my leaking oil pan and can't get the motor mount back on. No mater how high I jack up the motor the holes will not line up and I'm afraid I'm going to strip the threads by forcing it.
I loosened the other motor mount and trany mount and when I jack up the motor the whole suspension lifts which doesn't help.
Any suggestions? Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks for any help.............

You're going to hate this, but loosen the oil pan. If it has shifted to the side, then it will interfere slightly with the mount bolts. The gasket is a bit bigger then the hole as well, which can cause some issues. Leave all the engine mount bolts loose until they are all in place.

Yup I thought of that. I can run the bolts in and out without a problem without the mount in place. Originally before I tightened down the oil pan I ran the mount bolts in to make sure it was alligned properly.
Do you still think I need to loosen the oil pan?

Remove the rubber mount from the aluminum piece and then bolt the aluminum piece in loosely. Now jack the engine up slightly and slide the rubber mount between the aluminum bracket and subframe.

I tryed that. The stud is to long on the mount. I don't have enough clearance but I'm going to try it again when I get home tonight from work. Bummer working on Sunday!
Thanks for your help Aaron.
