First off, I'm going to assume that your car is N/A. Four inch exhaust is about the WORST thing you can do for your car.

Please search. There are lots of articles on how to make an N/A faster.

4" might be too big. i have a 3" and i think i didnt need it that big. 2 1/2 should be ok.
and yes, any FULL exhaust helps. the true duals system seems to be the best out there for an N/A. then help you car breath better (a cold air system or like it), then, if you want, get into the fuel system, tuning the fuel helps A LOT (by tuning i mean mostly leaning it out). SAFC-2 seems to be the best fuel 'tunner' when you can't go standalone. i have it aswell. and if you don't know how to tune it, have it tunned. those should give you some power.

oops almost forgot...FULL TUNE UP!

Sell it and buy a ferrari. Can't? Then stop getting mad if something's faster than you.

You sure that 323 isn't running a B6PT (?) engine off of a 323 GT / GTX?
Hell, maybe it was inhaling nitrous?

Yeah! B6T represent! I love my 323 GTX! The more popular swap for the Astinas is the BPT out of the 90-94 323 GTX, the Ford Escort GT/1st Gen Protege/Astina is usually what they stick those in.

In either case it makes the Astina a fairly quick car, the B6T runs about 155 at the flywheel and the BPT is good for about 190 flywheel hp in stock form.

To the poster: In any case, just tell yourself it had one of these motors and you'll feel a lot better.

something had to be done to it theres no way a standard 323 could even keep up with just a standard N/A its like 88kw vs 225 btw would a short throw shifter help me as the distance between gears is quite considerable is this standard for an rx-7 gearbox, also how do extractors run on a rotary engine?

SUper air flow controller. It can tune air fuel ratios in an RX-7.

Good for mad tuning yo.

get a full 2.5" exhaust along with a damn good header (RB). get a 50 shot wet nitrous setup and rock out.

or.... sell it and get a TII. otherwise you're never going to be fast with that n/a unless you like high 14 second 1/4 mile slips (at best)

**** that was beat up.... you seriously need boost tho hahaha

Short of running a tube frame with a fiberglass body, a 13B n/a will never be fast
