More No Start Problems (last one fixed)

Thanks to all who responded to my last posts, I replaced pos. battery cable and now the car spins over.

NOW-

-Fuel Pump works fine (i can hear it), but I do not think the injectors are firing b/c I cannot smell gas under hood/ in exhaust/ or on plugs. New fuel pump and filter.
Is there a test connnector around engine bay I can use to make sure injectors are getting the 12v+?

-I've tested for spark several times by just putting screwdriver in wire boot and spinning car over. One time I actually saw/heard sparks but most of the time not. The CAS IS good. I tried to test for 12v at the connectors for the coils by FSM instructions but got nothing, I might have been doing it wrong though...

So I guess I am just wondering what exactly else I should try checking for the car to get fuel/spark.
More Info-
-main fuses in engine bay are ALL GOOD
-"engine" fuse under dash is GOOD
-everything is wired correctly

Also- by the ECU (#332) is there one connector that does not have a home? there was one white connnector that had 2 or 3 prongs (was not atmospheric pressure sensor)that I absolutely could not find a place to plug in. I am wondering now if it could be related to my problem, but dont think so.

Its an 87TII w/ very brittle wiring harness and 89 engine. all 87 electronics were used.

Thank you for any help
Mike

I swear this car hates me. I go and check the ignition again, and what do I find? 12v at each igniter and good spark when cranking. I just don't get it... Next time I check, they probably won't work.
Still don't think the injectors are firing though. Where's that check connector???

Yellow connector by the passenger side strut tower, jumper that.

The best way to check for fuel is to pull off the fuel supply hose. This will be coming off the fuel filter. IT should go to the frontmost rail...if these are backwards(supply/return) the car will not run btw, so cehck of that. Supply front, return rear. Crank her over, see if anything comes out.

IF so, check for spark. Pull a plugwire, l1 usually works, and use an old plug or anything conductive and lay it up on teh strut tower by one of the bolts underneath the rubber...crank her over. You can see outside the car and watch for a little blue spark. IF you get it, you're good,,, put it back on and go on.

IF possible, try new plugs, old ones foul easily. IF not, clean yours of with a wire brush, sandpaper, etc. Hell, ven a grinder works if youre careful. Pour a little atf in the lower holes while the plugs are out, for good measure and to eliminate flooding as teh reason.

If it still doesnt crank, or if one of the above checks revealed a failure, post back here and we'll go from there. There is a set procedure I use for narrowing down the troble with a nonrunning car...I do this all the time. Start old FC's that have satr undriven for years on end.

This statement.... 87 electronics were used .... means the injectors off the 87 also?? Take the top sparkplugs out and spin the engine. See a fuel mist? No fuel mist, no injection happening. See a fuel mist? Then its flooded. Or.....

The yellow jumper is for fuel pump, already did that and could hear it running.
I think I found the problem though, thanks for the help.
Oh yeah, 87 injectors were used so the impedence thing is not a problem if thats what you were getting at.
