Modifications to do
Wow, first time posting in the second gen section. One of my friends has an 86 NA, and he wants some more power. What can he do? He has an exhaust and intake. I do not know much about these cars, so I couldn't even think of anything to tell him? So what can he do?

Why would we want to do that? Do you want us to wipe your butt too? In the archives, there is an excellent thread on engine mods..

can't....stop....looking...at those...BOOBIES! lol, sorry. Anyways n/a's really don't have to much power potential without porting the hell out of the engine but some things to do would be.
get an safc and lean out the fuel mixture some, there is an insert that you can put into the 5th and 6th ports called pineapple racing sleaves I belive that add a little bit of hp. um... you can do a bunch of weight reduction. I'm not an n/a expert by any means but those are a couple. Whatever you do, don't get larger injectors like alot of people do for some reason thinking it will get them more hp. This will only cause you to run even more rich causing less hp. Good luck.
