Missing Relay, what is it?

Here is the picture at the front of the car right next to the overflow coolant reservoir.
I cant seem to find the info on the relay that has been removed from the car. The connector i'm holding is wired to the same loom as the two relay connectors.
Also, can someone tell me what the two relays are for also.

the pic is a little vague ,, so wire colours would help lots
BUT it looks like the spider earth connector

there should be a bolted to earth connector near that overflow/ headlight with all male spades that a clip that looks just like that one attaches to

try the headlights,, if parkers and headlights are very dim or dont work,, that is the earths

The diagram shows a cooling fan relay, is that true for the S4, or is that for a later model?

Bumpstart, the picture is from the very front of the car (upside down). Bottom is to the radiator support.

Reason why i'm asking is cause i want to wire in 2 relays for my 2 speed electric fan.

The dwgs are from a series four FSM.

Like the man said, if you give the wire colors it's easy to tell what that connector is used for. With no wire colors nobody can tell for SURE. Wire colors are in the series four wiring that can be downloaded for free from this site.

when we were messing with my convertible's AC we discovered that mazda was nice enough to wire in a 2nd relay for what would be the aux electric fan for the AC that comes on TIIs so you should already have that relay and wiring you need there unless someone has removed it. This could be a vert/TII thing, I never looked further into it- check the wiring diagram for your specific vehicle

Sort of as mentioned in the post above..................it SEEMS to be a connector on the FRONT harness that WOULD connect to the AC1 harness (air conditoning harness) if your car had been a TURBOII car instead of a non turbo car.

In other words its for an electric fan (stock turboii car electric fan) but your non turbo car may also have that connector much like it has other unused electrical plugs for features your car did not come with (like those Auto Adjust Suspension plugs).

The Yellow wire in that plug should be hot with the key ON.
See jpgs attached

Also in that general area is the plug shown in the attached jpg. It's meant for automatic cars. Both of its B/W wires are hot anytime the key is on. The plug just sits there on cars with no automatic trans.

You do not need that hooked up!(the connector in your hand)
The relays I believe are for HI/Lo beam lights.( I could be wrong.)
