misfire system?

i've heard good things about this misfire system (for the track of course). does anyone have any info on it? how does it work? would it be possible to put this in a street car without getting a forged titanium exhaust system?

You would need an ECU capable of this function, IE Microtech, Haltech, Etc.. it will trash your turbo, and isnt worth it for a street driven car unless you love replacing parts. Quit watching Initial D, it isnt real..

Hmmm... I thought these help your turbo spooled when shifting or letting off gas. I may be wrong.

hey dont hate on initial D :-( the misfire system was used in the group b rally cars (which threw 6 foot flames from the pipes at idle ) in the '80s, but it would seriously hurt the turbo that bad? would shotpeening or cryotreating help at all? this is, of course, all theoretical, im broke and dont have enough money to even think about these things...just curious. and yeah one sick 7, its there to keep boost up when going through a corner; usually on AWD cars, giving them the 'ultimate advantage', like kyoichi's lan evo iii!!! ....sorry, i just ordered the third stage movie and its been playing for two days

You know what...you should stop asking so much (stupid) questions and read / listen more.
Do you know how to do a proper search?
This has been covered enough times already before.

I guess you conveniently forgot to mention the BAD sides of this system???
It'll burn your turbine wheel.
It can kill your engine if you don't know what you're doing.
Stop ******* with **** that have no use on the street.

And you deny saying this???

would it be possible to put this in a street car without getting a forged titanium exhaust system?
Dude, let me give you some advice...

I only read three of your threads...

1) You used to drive some B-series Civic, and you're complaining about throttle response - RICE.

2) You want Infini "emblems" on your FC - RICE.

3) Now you're asking about a misfire system - RICE.

You're a RICER, and you're asking questions which are already answered in the stickies FAQ or can be easily found in a proper search.

Misfire system -> keyword search "misfire"
Infini "emblems" -> keyword search "infini"

That was 2 out of 3.

As for the throttle response...
You're driving a car with 8.5:1 compression.
Throttle is going to lag versus your 9.0:1+ CR B-series Honda motor - get used to it or sell the damn car.

don't use it unless you compete in real events, bro. definitely not for a street car.

with a misfiring system you'll have to rebuild engine/turbo every 1000 miles. Great idea if you're a professional rally racer, but I'm pretty sure you're not...

Dumb noob caught in a web of lies, whats your excuse, to much initial d yo?

I've own two CRX's, a GVR4, a Zenki AE86 HATCH, and three FC turbos.
The AE86 was a piece of ****.
Anyone who touts how good it is is either really stupid and blind or watched too much InitialD - which one are you? All of the above?

Hachis were the fad car.
S13 / S14 is now the fad car.
The S13 is built so poorly, it's either rusting and falling apart or bump the suspension the wrong way, and bolts fall off.

Dude, you're coming across as a ricer whether you know it or not.

How old are you?

See ownage above , and his age- September 6, 1988

On the ae86 note, I agree, i swapped cars for a run at a drift day with my friends ae86 and it sucked *** and my buddy driving my car left a couple in the dust in the mountains hehe.

a miss-firing systems makes your turbo car act and feel like an NA car....

it wears your turbo down greatly, be prepared to replace it very, very, very frequently....
