mis-start flooding everytime

I have to hit the accellerator at just the right moment when cranking the motor. if I don't it will flood everytime. since it is cold it is harder to hit that perfect timing.
I don't have any trouble with short run or cold flooding. I could start my car, drive a block and turn it off. it will start fine (except this problem)
What do I need to do to take care of this trouble?

If it is cold (under 30F) then you should pump the pedal once before starting. Only once all the way to the floor, and release.

Warm starts should not require any pump of the accell.

If you are flooding besides that; then you have leaking injectors or are not letting the car warm up after starting before shutting it off.

a fuel cut-off switch will take care of leaky injectors until you can get some new, non leaky ones. Try Ebay, they have a i think four set of injectors right now. Good luck man

?

In all 2nd Gen RX-7's there is a fault in the ECU that causes flooding on high milelage 7's. Try the ATF trick or put in a fuel cut off switch like I did, or both. Just cut into the ground and wire up one. My car starts up every time now. People tend to think that they have leaky injectors...but the problem lies in the ECU.
